WOYWW- It's pitiful

Hello, goodness, we weren't expecting another Wednesday quite so soon! We'll show you the desk for the weekly nose at WOYWW in a minute, oh, and if you wonder what we're on about, take a little walkies over to here where you'll be enlightened. So, the desk?

We've done nothing, and I mean NOTHING crafty at all. We've been suffering from aches and pains and generally feeling sorry for ourselves. Wilbear's course has left everyone exhausted as we all share our energy, and at the moment he's taking the bear's share of it. After attending his day school, reading his course book, attempting to write creatively and learning how to use his new software (growl recognition by Dragon) he's wiped us clean of energy and all we can do is lounge lethargically with blank looks on our furry faces, we don't even have the energy to unwrap a chocolate bar (and the wrappers are far too chewy to digest!!)

Anyway, that desk; Wilber's course materials are splattered over most of it, he insists they need to be left out for moments of inspawration! I (Horace) have a teensy corner where I'm attempting to parcel up a present for my love interest, Clarissa, as you may remember, she wrote me a love letter not so long ago after I made her a travel journal. I'm hoping she'll fall completely in love with me and am sending her an item of clothing to wear. Maybe when she receives it she'll send me a photo of her wearing it. Well a bear can dream. You may be able to make out that I've written her a love note, and drawn a picture of myself for her to kiss at night!

Oops, I forgot, we're supposed to keep this post short and sweet, well, we always waffle so why break with tradition! I'll let you know the outcome of my present posting soon.

Ttfn, I'm off for a desk hop.

  1. Hi Bears, that was a very interesting post. And young Clarissa must be mad if she doesn't fall head over heels for you! Very thoughtful of you all to energy- share, just don't wear yourselves to a furry frazzle! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #29 xx

  2. Hi bears!!, been away and a bit distracted myself and it's taken a bit to find my mojo and it seems from reading the WOYWW blogs a few are in a slump or at other task - sometimes our minds and bodies need a break even if we don't want to. Cheers RobynO#34

I can't believe however that you don't have enough energy for chocolate.......maybe waving it under the noses of your fellow bears enough times will do the trick. Good on you Horace for dreaming, as you never know when one may just come true! Hope you have a better week. Danie #54

  6. Sorry you've all been feeling a little bit under the weather! Creative writing is most definitely fifty percent inspawation and fifty percent pawspiration, so hang on in there! You'll create something worthy of the Mann - or maybe the Bear - Booker prize some day, I'm sure! Hope the love interest reciprocates too! Crafty Bear hugs Julie Ann xx #45

I am so sorry to hear that you are all feeling under the weather. I think you should drag a quilt into the lounge all get under it and sit and watch some movies.
Take it in turns to go make the hot lemon and honey drinks and fetch the chocolates and wishing you all well soon

  10. Why don't you run away and hide under a nice shady tree and have a few bear naps, that should do the trick. Do take things easy bears.

  12. Oh Bears, it was sooo good to have a visit from you again. As the weather cools my aches and pains start flaring up, not to mention the steps in and out of the Playhouse, when we are traveling. But alas I am just old and need to face it one of these days.
Hope your studying rewards you with good grades.

  15. Too tired to unwrap a chocolate bar? That's some serious stuff right there. I'm sorry to hear that the coursework is eating up everyone's time and energy. Courses tend to do that. Many students find that comes as quite a shock. I'm glad you have some time to write a letter and get it into the post. I hope we'll hear more of this budding romance.

  16. Hello the bears! Are you learning to use Dragon naturally speaking? My other half uses that for his writing and loves it...you just need to check it through afterwards to make sure it hasn't inserted the wrong word (passed and past for example). Take care and make sure you get enough rest. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x (#12)

  24. Goodness, that should have read "LIKE," not some totally insulting derogatory word for a certain group of people. MY BAD. MY FINGERS! My failure to read and review before I hit publish.

  27. Happy Belated WOYWW. I am forcing myself to take it easy this morning, as like you I am struggling. Extra pain, the horrible weather and an injured pony to nurse mean that unusually I am on the sofa with my new 'phablet' catching up on comments. Ali x #96

  30. So sorry to hear you're all knocked out - and I do so empathise!

Good luck with the onslaught - sorry, I mean "wooing" of course - I hope Clarissa will see which way her bread is buttered and make you the happiest bear in the world, Horace - but if she does send the photo in the garment, I hope you won't be revealing anything too bear-otically charged here on the blog!
