Let the Christmas Countdown Begin

Hello there. Are you getting ready for the big day? Here at The House of Bears we can hardly contain our excitement that Christmas is almost here. We pawsuaded Wilbear to put the tree up. He muttered and moaned a little but that's just his way. He loves December really. He insisted that he was the only one allowed to assemble the tree.

We were allowed to watch though.

It did look like a dangerous job when Wilbear began to put the lights on the tree. Ouch!

He cheered up a little when he remembered Mr Tesco brought these with last week's shopping.

He said decorating the tree is a load of baubles!

We think he did a great job though. Is that Rudolph hiding to the side of the tree?

We already have our first present to put under the tree.

It's from the cub. How exciting.

With love from the bears

  1. Ooh, that's all happening too fast for me, bears!! I'm a bah humbugger on early trees - but it does look deliciously sparkly - probably much needed in these dark dreary days. Only thing is, I always want to keep the lights up for January and February too - when it's even darker and drearier!!

  2. This is the first X-mas tree I see this season, bears!

Wilbear did a great job it seems and the first present already there reminds me that I should get started with wrapping up the ones I already found for my beloved ones...

We put the tree up in the evening of the 23rd and then my son and I decorate it in the morning on 24th (watching "Three Cobs for Cinderella" (our favourite X-mas movie...we watch it every year at that time since I can remember ...so we can speak all the dialogues and have a lot of fun ;).

There's a lot of X-mas decoration already on the balconies in my neighbourhood (no Santa's climbing them or being trapped in trunks this year so far - thank God!) and I enjoy that "parade" when I do my evening walkies with the dog!

    Enjoy the festive season, Bears!

    Hugs,
