for taking the time to create with us. We love all your creations and really appreciate that you come and make our challenges worthwhile each month.
This is what we pawduced.
Unfortunately this was one of our camera fail projects, so despite taking pictures as we crafted, only our previous WOYWW picture came out! Grr. We now have a new memory card and hope that rectifies the problem.
Anyhoo, here is a little close up
We used the 'splat paint on a page, close it, brayer it, open it up and further spread the paint' technique, oh yes, it really is called that! On top of the paint we added some Gesso to the top of the page and let it find its own drippy path down the page. Some texture was added with the help of our lovely grunge paste applied through our chicken wire stencil. Once this was dried we added the chosen sentiment, a winged girl, and a broken cage, to depict her freedom.
We had great fun making this page, it's a shame the photos were eaten by the camera but hey ho.
Come back tomorrow for more literary based quotes to challenge yourself with.
With love from the bears
Great colours and I LUV the chikkin wire stencil :-) The open cage on one side with the fab sentiment are brilliant. Such a wonderful page spread. I am still wishing I could do journaling. I might try another one :-D

So much colour - and the chicken wire starring as the net works brilliantly... fabulous pages!
