WOYWW - shtuff

Aloha, finally I have the desk to create on. Wilbear is in the kitchen having more specialist software training so I thought I'd grab the opportunity to get my painting head on.

Remember the picture I was attempting to replicate from An Illustrated Life? Well I thought I'd get my watercolours out and paint it up. I haven't used these before and definitely need more practice with them. It's fun to get back to crafting after a brief hiatus though. I've spread a protective cover over the desk. I don't want to invoke Wilbear's wrath if I splodge paint everywhere! I've also purloined some pages from Wilbear's old prospectus, I don't think he needed it any more, if he does I'll have to staple the torn pages back in!

Oh, why on earth am I gibbering on about what's on my desk? Click your furry paw right here to find out more. Be warned though, once you blog hop it's hard to stop!

With love from the bears

  11. Very thoughtful of you, Horace, to spread out the papers underneath--goodness, I hope Wilbear doesn't want those pages back, but they look so fab, he may just!

  20. Wilbear sounds a bit of a neat-freak to me, Horace - get him to loosen up a bit and have fun with you making a mess with paint everywhere!!

Thank you for your lovely comment and for the good wishes for our new house. We love it here. Winston and Edwina, our 2 bears, are well settled in and enjoy their new surroundings. I am looking forward to getting my ARTHaven all sorted out so I can get creating again - but there's still a lot to do in the rest of the house before I can create with a clear conscience!

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  25. Oh bears, I have missed you... Sorry I haven't been around much. The big move (clearing and moving out of the family home of 40 years) knocked me out, but I'm looking forward to some proper catching up over the next days and weeks.

I'm hoping as I browse that I'll find out a bit about how the new course is going for Wilbear... but I'm glad you managed to sneak some crafting time for these lovely looking pages.

  26. Happy Very Belated WOYWW. It is brilliant to see you back at the desk getting crafty with paints. I am surrounded by hedgehog images, as I am making cards for a local hedgehog rescue service to sell at fairs. Nearly as cute as you bears! Ali x #49
