WOYWW - a vicious circle

Hello again dear blog hoppers and followers. It's that time of the week again where us nosey inquisitive WOYWWers get to snoop at desks of crafters across the globe courtesy of Julia at Stamping Ground. Go and check out her blog, take a pic of your desk and join in the fun.

This week I'm working in my large Dylusions journal. I have an inkling of an idea for a collaged page so am starting with some old road maps ripped and stuck randomly onto my single page spread. The RHS has already been decorated with another attempt at the whimsical lettering page from a Lifebook class. Although I'd already completed the lesson on watercolour paper, I liked it enough to have another play in the journal.

The LHS will be filled with the ripped road map pages and any other co ordinating papers. As you can see, I already have some papers to the left of the desk waiting to be ripped and glued. I'm not entirely sure where the page is going right now, but that's half the fun of journalling isn't it?

Right, I'm off for a blog hop before completing my page. TTFN.

With love from Horace.

  2. I am really looking forward to seeing how your page turns out, Horace. You are such a talented bear! Thank you for visiting my blog, and I'm glad you like my embroidery. Thank you also for your very kind words and good wishes for my upcoming scan and further treatment - I have to say that there is absolutely nothing quite like a bear to make one feel a whole lot better!!!

  5. I see the 'onion flower' on that other page from Joanne Sharpe...I thought that was such a cool image and a great description from her. The maps look interesting and can't wait to see what the page will be. I have a dylusions journal for documented life project but it is a smaller one so I wish I had yours! I was trying to conserve ya know :) Shel#55

  7. I've always like that saying Keep On Keepin' On, because it doesn't make any demands on anyone. I can see where half the fun is just waiting to see how it all turns out. Enjoy! Judy #64

  8. Have fun, Horace. Try not to get too much glue on the paws - might mean a turn in the washing machine - NOT fun!
    Take care. God bless.

  13. Like Laura, RHS to me is the Royal Horticultural Society. A very good idea to use old maps in that way. I have several which are well out of date, which could be used rather than just destroyed. Thank you for your visits and kind comments. I am glad it is not just me failing tosee the stop sign. Have a good week, Horace, and keep those paws out of the snow. xx Maggie #29
