WOYWW - The Beginnings of a Journal Page

Hello there, Horace here (yes again- I lucked out with the blogging rights lately) to host our blog post for the weekly phenomenon that is WOYWW, if you have no idea what this acronym stands for then head over to the wonderful Julia's to find out.

So, apart from my onesie, what else can be seen? Well I'm starting our entry for our literary challenge, details can be found below. I have the large calendar journal, into which I'm squidging then brayering some acrylics for a colourful background. Also to be seen is the Mod Podgy, ready for any gluing that may be needed, a dark background already done in my A5 journal to the back of the desk, the I pod(gy) with tunes to inspire me, some Gesso which I primed my pages with, some art sponges, a decorated post card awaiting posting to the cub......

Before I finish my journal page, I'm off for a cheeky sneaky peek at some crafty desks, oh, don't forget to check out our challenge, you have until the end of May to enter this time, press your paw
Here to see the details.

With love from the bears.

  3. Hiya Horace :-D
May I ask what sort of paper is in your Journal Book there ??? I am going to hunt through the little shops in town and see if I can find something but so far I have only found lined school books with that sort of binding. !! Maybe I could use a watercolour drawing pad ???

    1. The big A4 book is just a Sketch book from The Range, a shop selling various art items near us, the A5 book in the corner is a water colour sketch book and pawsonally I find that much more sturdy for painty effects. With the sketch book I journal every other page and stick the in betweens together for more substance. I hope you can find something suitable.

  14. Hello Horace apologies for my lack of visiting of late! I can see you have been very busy. It seems that there is a whole lot of journalling going on everywhere and those pages at the back look pretty cool. By the way who is that panda on your desk ? X

  15. The panda is Podgy's ipod(gy) docking station, he thinks it was modelled on him!
