WOYWW - Card Making Mess

Good morning fellow bloggers, or evening even, if you are reading this after a hard day at work. Another Wednesday has sneaked up on us, but we don't mind do we? After all, it means another chance to legitimately nose at desks of crafters worldwide, ooh I love a good nose, Cedric has a long one, but not necessarily a good one!

Oops, sidetracked by noses, whatever next, but while we're on the subject, can you catch sight of my orange furry snout in the photo below? Wilbear panned in on the mess to prove we really are messy crafters, but he just caught my nose in the frame too (ouch!)

So, what is on my W anyway, and what on earth does WOYWW stand for, well to answer the second question first - because I like to live life front to back, or is it back to front? - Anyway to find an explanation for the acronym, press your orange furred paw here.

For an answer to the second question (if you managed to get that far without losing the will to live) look above! I'm in a card making mood, but also a stash busting mood, so I'm using scraps, mostly from the lovely September 2012 Papermaze kit. I really don't like waste, and always find I have large pieces of patterned paper left over from my scrapbook pages. What better way to use them up than to make a few paw made cards for charity? So far the bears have donated to Marie Curie, The Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, Suffolk Animal Rescue, German Shepherd Rescue in Scotland and Labrador Rescue also in Scotland, as well as donating cards and tags for local fundraising efforts, it's the most fun part about crafting, being able to give a little back. Well, that and the fact that crafting is hungry work, therefore more snacking is a must!!!

Here's one I made earlier, well, seconds ago, but we won't split fur will we?

Must dash, got to get my desk fix!

    1. I did make a few that I haven't posted. But I think they were just too miniature a project for me. I found I was frustrated trying to make them. I suit bigger I think.

  7. Very pretty! I love the high contrast between the pale background and the bold flower. Not followed the Inchie trail or the ATC trail - so many fun things and so little time!

    Happy WOYWW!

  19. Stash busting and charity, great stuff indeed. Love to see your desk literally in action. Have just seen the comment and reply about Inchies. Me too, too small I think..I need a point too, and I just ended up with them stuck randomly onto things!

  20. G'day House Of Bears
I usually don't get around for WOYWW till Friday as when Julia posts the link I am at work in the evening here in Oz. My day off isn't till Friday then but I'm home sick all this week so here I am just one day late(I couldn't type yesterday due to sore hands and why I am home!!). What a lovely crafty mess on your desk...is that Mr Squiggle up the back? Love the bear nose peeking in too LOL. Beautiful card as well

  22. Oh, well done, bears, on your charity card-making efforts... though given they say charity begins at home, don't you think it's time to consider letting your human out from under the bed?!
